Day 1 Friday Arrive in Beijing
Arrive in China by International Flight. Met and transferred to hotel. If it’s your first time to China, you can fly to Beijing earlier, and tour the city highlights by joining our Beijing bus tour. Overnight in Capital Airport hotel ★★★


Day 2 Saturday Flight to Lhasa, Tibet (Dinner)
Morning transfer to airport, take morning flight to Lhasa, Tibet. Upon arrival at Lhasa Gonggar airport, you are met by our representative and transferred to hotel. Check in hotel and take complete rest for acclimatization. Tonight you are invited for a welcome dinner with Tibetan Cultural Performance at Crazy Yak Typical Tibetan restaurant. Day3 Sunday Lhasa (Breakfast)
Embark on sightseeing of the highlights of Lhasa. Today, basically you will visit the world’s highest ancient palace Potala Palace, Tibetan Medicine Institute (Mentsekhang in Tibetan) and the sacred spiritual center of Tibet- Barkhor Street and Jorkhang Temple. You will enjoy a 2-hrs rickshaw tour around Barkhor old town, traditional Tibetan houses and narrow lanes in and around the street whisper the stories of old Lhasa. Barkhor Street is also a marketplace in which visitors can buy many beautiful souvenirs. Overnight in Lhasa Thangka Hotel ★★★★


Day 4 Monday Lhasa (Breakfast)
Discover more of Lhasa. Today’s tour includes two famous Gelugpa Monasteries: Drepung and Sera. Drepung Monastery is 5 kilometers (3 miles) from the western suburb of Lhasa. It is one of the 'Three Great Monasteries' (the other two are the Ganden Monastery and the Sera Monastery) of Gelugpa Sect of Tibetan Buddhism. Sera Monastery is located in the northern suburb of Lhasa City. Colorful debates on Buddhist doctrines are held here 4-5pm daily and these employ a style distinctive from those at Lhasa's other famous monasteries. Overnight in Lhasa Thangka Hotel ★★★★


Day 5 Tuesday Lhasa-Kathmandu by flight (every 2,4,6,7) (Breakfast & Dinner)
Morning transfer to Gonggar airport (60km, 1 hrs), take a breathtaking flight over the Everest and Himalayas to Nepal. Upon arrival in Kathmandu International Airport, we are met by our local representative and transferred to our hotel. We take rest to cope with the jet lag or we can take walking tour of old Kathmandu. We visit the former Royal Palace in Durbar Square and browse through the narrow streets of Indrawchok and Asan to see the traditional business hub of Kathmandu. In the evening, our local manager joins you in dinner, arranged in a typical Nepali restaurant and we will also have chance to see Nepali folk dance. Overnight in Kathmandu Shanker Hotel ★★★★

 

Day 6 Wednesday At Kathmandu (Breakfast)
After breakfast, we embark on the tour of the day. First half of the day, we visit Pashupatinath temple- the holiest Hindu Temple, situated on the bank of sacred Bagmati River and Bodhanath Stupa-the biggest stupa architecture of Nepal. In the afternoon, we visit Patan City-famed as the City of Arts and Architecture. We visit its Dubar Square with former palaces and medieval temples with intricate carvings and walk through the streets of the city to see more of the temples and monasteries. We will also visit the local workshops of the wood carvers, metal workers and thangka painters. We take a short drive out of Patan city to visit Bungamati Village of Newars. The village, in spite of being so near from the city, remains untouched by any kinds of modernization. Majority of the villagers are farmers and crafters. We return to the hotel late afternoon. Day 7 Thursday Kathmandu to Paro (Bhutan) by flight and drive to Thimpu (2hours)
(Breakfast, lunch, dinner)
You are transferred to the airport for flight to Paro, Bhutan. It’s a 50 minutes long flight and offers you with spectacular views of Himalayas. Upon arrival at Paro Airport, you will get your passport stamped with actual visa. Claim your baggage and meet your guide outside the airport. After lunch at a local restaurant, we drive to Thimphu (2hrs)-the capital city of Bhutan. Overnight in Thimpu Riverview Hotel A level

 

Day 8 Friday Thimpu Tour (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)
After breakfast, we will embark on tour of Thimphu. We visit Memorial Chorten, a shrine built in the memory of the late king, Jigme Dorji Wangchuk. Many Bhutanese people gather here to pray every day. From here, we drive to visit to a nunnery on the outskirts of Thimphu, followed by visit to Takin Zoo. Takin-the legendary animal, is the national animal of Bhutan. We also visit Textile Museum, School of Arts and Crafts, Heritage Museum and Tasicho Dzong at the end of the day. The massive Tasicho Dzong is the seat of Bhutan’s administrative and religious center. Overnight in Thimpu Riverview Hotel A level

 

Day9 Saturday Thimpu-Punakha (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)
After breakfast, we attend Thimphu’s colorful Week-end market where farmer’s sell their fresh produce. We can also take chance to watch the archery match-the national sports of Bhutan. Late morning, we drive to Punakha and Wangdue Phodrang ( 3hrs).
The road climbs up to Dochula pass (Alt. 3010m), where we stop to get a spectacular panoramic views of the snow capped mountain range of Bhutan (weather permitting!). Near the pass there are many chortens (pagoda or stupas) and hundreds of prayers flags fluttering about in the wind. After the pass the road drops through changing vegetation into semitropical lowland Punakha - Wangdi valley at around 1400m. Overnight Meri Puensum Resort

 

Day10 Sunday Punakha & Wangdue Phodrang (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)
Drive north of Punakha and walk uphill for half hour each way to visit Khamsum Yuley Namgay Chorten. Return downhill and for those who with to do more walks may follow ancient riverside trails amid whitewashed farmhouses till Punakha. Visit Punakhar Dzong, Bhutanese architectural masterpiece of 17th century. Later visit the town and take a pleasant walk to Chimi Lhakhang Temple. Overnight Meri Puensum Resort or Punatsangchu cottages.

 

Day11 Monday Punakha-Paro (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)
After breakfast, we retrace our drive back to west across Dochula Pass, providing one more opportunity to view the peaks of the eastern Himalayas. At the pass, there is a small restaurant, where we can sip tea and enjoy the views. Descend from the pass in time for lunch at the restaurant in Thimphu and later in the evening, retrace drive to Paro. Overnight Valley View Hotel

 

Day12 Tuesday Paro Hike to Taktsang Monastery (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)
Takstang Monastery also popularly known as Tiger's nest is perched some 2,000ft/600m up on a sheer cliff overlooking the valley. The hike is about 2 hrs to the teahouse, which can also be done on the Pony. After tea and snacks you may either opt to hike further uphill for about 45mins to get a closer look at Taktsang and the surrounding temples or just remain at the Tea house and enjoy the views. The return trek to the road head is all downhill and takes about half the time.
Today, we also visit the ruins of the Drugyel Dzong, Kyichu Temple, Dungtse and a typical Bhutanese Farm House. Overnight Valley View Hotel.

 

Day13 Wednesday Paro- Bangkok by flight and connecting to home country (Breakfast)
After breakfast, you are transferred to the airport in time for your flight to Bangkok or Calcutta
